Itinerary:

Friday:
Arrive at the south side of the Neuadd Reservoirs (the lower resevoir) and park the cars.
Walk to the North end of the upper reservoir.
Check out the island in the middle of the north reservoir; the reservoir level has significantly lowered of late and last time we went the island was accessible from the north end of the reservoir.
Set up camp on the island.
Have a BBQ!
Saturday:
Whoever wants to can take a day walk up the cliffs to the east and then north to the three brecon peaks and then south again back to camp.
At night have another BBQ!
Sunday:
Chill
Go home
If thats not relaxed then I dont know what is!
If anyone has any good ideas of what else we can do, please add it.
p.s If the island cannot be accessed or someone else has got there before us, there is a second fairly good camp site between the two rivers to the north west of the reservoir.
p.p.s Make dua the weather is good, but it's the company that is really important
(Squibby) - I'm praying for the weather now...

Well, you cannot get the weather just as yet for our proposed weekend of the 21st, but the days before it till the 19th seem rather promising. Temperatures in the range of the 15 degrees and sunshine with light winds of upto 10mph.
Or perhaps it is the calm before the storm....

- note there is a viscious rumour going around that I am a maniac / suicidal driver. Let me clarify, I have not in the 6 years of driving ever had an accident (except one in which is backed into a new mini cooper and made a thumb print dent into it). I have no points nor have i had any speeding fines or points. Have you shafiq per chance? sajid? & other drivers?
