First spotted in the 1980s in South West London, the McMood is an infamously dumber aberration of the normal Homo Sapien.
The McMood is unable to decipher simple statements made by other people (notably Shafiq Shafi and Wifter Saleem). He is also infamous for declaring Micro$oft Windows to be superior to Linux. These and other aberrations to the norms of human intelligence have led many to consider McMood some sort of sub-species, but this opinion seems rather extreme.
Much scientific research is still needed to determine the exact nature of this specimen.

During some preliminary explorative research into the nature of the specimen, we decided to determine if the specimen's characteristics were environmental or genetic. We had a brief look at some of the external relationships that were present and have come across a number of anomalies which may be more notable as a scientific discovery. The anomalies were Shafiq Shafi, a specimen who is not sure how many brothers it has although it did cohabit with them for more than 50% of its life and it believes that it is the lost member of the Beetles. Then there is the specimen, Arif Saleem, aka Wifter, aka King Linux Geek, we have been unable to quantify or qualify an appropriate description as of yet - we have not been able to compile a code which can accomodate the highly complex nature of this specimen. Note, we have realised though, that although this specimen is highly complex it is not an indication of a higher intelligence rather it does seem there is an inverse squared relationship as the specimen has been known to believe, propogate and actually use Linux exclusively and actively maligns the user friendly, more functional Microsoft Windows based applications. Both of these specimens are of more concern as they seem to have already begun reproducing offspring and there is a great concern that its siblings may be in danger or be a danger to the human species, in the near future.
