Right then, we must now divert resources towards ... ummm .. resources. Please see further down and add your communal stuff to the list.
If anyone needs to buy stuff for personal or communal use perphaps we should place a mass order with Millets online as they are doing 20% off for orders over £50
1.
McMood - Drinking Tube with Microban - £7.99 - code: 094558
(McMood) Who is ordering or intending to online?
--------------------------
Ya, this is one seriously user-unfriendly 'thing'...Anyway, I inshallah will be coming as I don't get to light a campfire that often....at least not since I burnt down the neighbour'sshed.

AK: Dude more to the question - who the hell are you ?
(Squibby) No, who the hell are you? No one knows you about from the bloke bringing you.. and no one even knows who that is.
AK: I'm assuming I dont know you, cause the only squibbies I know are

Knorr soup (I'm sure if it's cold this will do wonders for morale!!!) (Shahzad)
Bread
SS: Depending on how much meat we bring, we may just end up eating cold meat for lunch, which doesnt sound too bad
SS: Since we are now have 5 days to go to Friday could we please get the meat situation in hand. What we need is people to opt to go out and buy the meat, marinade it and the optionally freeze it, so that by Friday it is well frozen. Charge whatever you buy below. Look here for ideas if you wish

Itinerary:
StreetmapURL
Friday:
Arrive at the south side of the Neuadd Reservoirs (the lower resevoir) and park the cars.
Walk to the North end of the upper reservoir.
Check out the island in the middle of the north reservoir; the reservoir level has significantly lowered of late and last time we went the island was accessible from the north end of the reservoir.
Set up camp on the island.
Have a BBQ!
SS: Beware guys Tbird has taken to pronoucing the Neuadd reservior, the Nude reservior, so I don't know what sick ideas he has planned
Saturday:
Whoever wants to can take a day walk up the cliffs to the east, tie up Squibby and leave him for the wolves at night, and then proceed north to the three brecon peaks and then south again back to camp.
At night have another BBQ!
Sunday:
Chill
Beat
McMood up and dump his body in the lake
Kick Kasim's leg if there's time PS: Go on I dare you to laugh/take the mick of moi! Muhahaha! Past events speak for themselves ;). (Squibby) Its ok now. The curse has been lifted and I can make fun of who I want without being instantly punished (McMood) Well you seem very certain about that, almost tempting fate...
Go home
If thats not relaxed then I dont know what is!
If anyone has any good ideas of what else we can do, please add it.
p.s If the island cannot be accessed or someone else has got there before us, there is a second fairly good camp site between the two rivers to the north west of the reservoir.
p.p.s Make dua the weather is good, but it's the company that is really important

(Squibby) - I'm praying for the weather now...
People who want to go for a walk on saturday

Weather Check
http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/14days.asp
(McMood) This weather check is budget. First time I checked last week, and it was sleety Friday, Sat / Sun odd chance of rain otherwise overcast. Then when i checked yesterday it said, raining all weekend. Now, today, it says no rain, and its dry now Sat and Sun and a decent temperature from 10-14 degrees. So me tinks, things can change still.
(Kasim) As long as it doesnt say 'light breeze' ... last time it said that we had a hurricane and the trees falling down in front of us whilst driving and the tent poles snapping
UPDATE:
Well now it says its a nice sunny weekend with a sprinkling of showers (McMood)
-----------------------
Travel:
<cars available + capacity>
McMood Honda Civic = Seats 4 carries 3 rucksacks at back max.
Saj's Peugeot 306 = 2 at the front and 2 or 3 at the back depending on size

(McMood) Maybe there should be a weight allowance, excess weight to be charged penalties for excessive fuel use.
Jameel Volvo v40 - should seat 4 and their luggage.
(Shahzad Suzuki - Seats 3 carries 3 rucksacks max)
People travelling: 12
car capacity: 12
looks like we wont need the suzuki Shaz.
UPDATE 2:
City University will lend us a Mini Bus but we need to wait till Tuesday to see if that is available. So Purrrfect, if they can Insha'Allah. Otherwise as
ShazLad said, we need another Car - I am sure all the brothers apart from Kasim can drive and own cars! (McMood)
SS: 'llow the bus — fuel for 3 cars will be what 120 squids — you aint getting a minibus+fuel for that.
McMood: City uni getting back to me in a couple of hours, rental is about 30 quid plus fuel...so this is the cheapest options!!!!!!!!!! If it works...
SS: Just out of interest, how are we able to skank the city uni minibus?
----------------------
Meeting Point:
What is the best meeting place, whose house? (Volunteers)
Note: We will probably be leaving late as dictated by past experiences.
Mahmud's house is a good option.
(McMood) Hmmmm, i guess someone decided then
Ok, my house streetmap:
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?G2M?X=512897&Y=174639&A=Y&Z=1
Number 32, Avondale Gardens. Plenty of parking down this road. DO NOT park on pavement.
I am near Heathrow airport, off the M4 or at the end of M3 for those coming from down south.
Meeting time: 7pm
Departure time: 8pm (pray maghrib and make like a tree)
SS: I think this is a wee tad late. we are gonna end up leaving at 11 and getting there for Fajr. Lets plan to leave earlier. Lets at least plan to leave after maghrib and make the meeting ~ 7pm. I want a BBQ on Friday, but that doesnt preclude having snackeroonies at your place.
Snackeroonies are notorious for causing delays. As someone has gone to the trouble of designing a 15 course supper on the Friday night, lets get out there asap and snackroony to our hearts content at the destination.
SS: Fair enuff
McMood: So food at my place it is....
Rules:
--
My family will be at home, they go to sleep pretty early. Some of whom are coming back from
On-Call - so main rules are, not to be too late (cos i will get grief for leaving too late) and noise levels to be a minimum.
We must aim to leave before 10pm.
PS: Make sure you come dressed in combat gear so we can strike fear into our Sikh neighbours. ;) JK: I know this is meant light-heardtedly, but it's obtuse, please remove it. McMood: Forgive me for being obtuse, but i believe the problem is actually quite an acute one. They hate us and we hate them - so subduing them for the hatred of Islam and its followers is something we should not be square about. ;)
Dinner at My place:
-------
Do we want to have dinner at my place before going? AK: Depends on how good the cooking is? If its naf are you gonna pay for pizza ? McMood: Which AK is this? Are you saying my mum's food is naf??!! Now, that just tops all of Squibbies cusses, and as Squibby will admit, that is quite a feat!

(Squibby) Actually, I cuss within limits. Cussing mum's food is strictly off-limits.
SS: There is only one AK and this is he.
(Squibby) Actually, there is another AK, the Algerian Brother, who is rather pleasant in contrast.
------------------------
Expenses:
If you could keep an idea of how much your expenses have been for the trip (food, petrol etc) we'll just add it up a little while before we leave and split the costs.
McMood (Total: £43.99)
----------
1 Single Stove (£12.99)
8 Gas canisters (£6)

Extra Equipment:
If you guys have anything extra, then just list it here, so people don't have to go out and buy stuff they don't need to.
Anyone who wants to borrow any item, merely place your name against it preceeded by <borrowed by>.
Boots (size 9) (Shafiq)
Torch (large) (Shafiq)
Fleece (Someone slimmer than I currently am) (Shafiq) (awif: is this the one you never washed for 3 years or something ?

(SS: and what if it is?) (Squibby) You can talk arf - your blue nike jumper has been 'running' for 10 years.
