Ya, this is one seriously user-unfriendly 'thing'...Anyway, I inshallah will be coming as I don't get to light a campfire that often....at least not since I burnt down the neighbour's shed.
I'll be bringing Zaf and AK...so we is going to ruck it up...the sack that is....if you catch my drift.

Arrive at the south side of the Neuadd Reservoirs (the lower resevoir) and park the cars.
Walk to the North end of the upper reservoir.
Check out the island in the middle of the north reservoir; the reservoir level has significantly lowered of late and last time we went the island was accessible from the north end of the reservoir.
Set up camp on the island.
Have a BBQ!
Saturday:
Whoever wants to can take a day walk up the cliffs to the east, tie up Squibby and leave him for the wolves at night, and then proceed north to the three brecon peaks and then south again back to camp.
At night have another BBQ!
Sunday:
Chill
Beat McMood up and dump his body in the lake
Kick Kasim's leg if there's time PS: Go on I dare you to laugh/take the mick of moi! Muhahaha! Past events speak for themselves ;). (Squibby) Its ok now. The curse has been lifted and I can make fun of who I want without being instantly punished (McMood) Well you seem very certain about that, almost tempting fate...

p.s If the island cannot be accessed or someone else has got there before us, there is a second fairly good camp site between the two rivers to the north west of the reservoir.

Well, you cannot get the weather just as yet for our proposed weekend of the 21st, but the days before it till the 19th seem rather promising. Temperatures in the range of the 15 degrees and sunshine with light winds of upto 10mph.
Or perhaps it is the calm before the storm....!!!
(SS) looks like it is. Weather is looking like rain all the way Guys!!
(SC) Temperatures are low, looks like the soup's going to come in handy.
(McMood) This weather check is budget. First time I checked last week, and it was sleety Friday, Sat / Sun odd chance of rain otherwise overcast. Then when i checked yesterday it said, raining all weekend. Now, today, it says no rain, and its dry now Sat and Sun and a decent temperature from 10-14 degrees. So me tinks, things can change still.
(Kasim) As long as it doesnt say 'light breeze' ... last time it said that we had a hurricane and the trees falling down in front of us whilst driving and the tent poles snapping

Mini-Buses - Prices start from £240 without fuel costs for the weekend. I don't think it is practical - looks like we need 3 to 4 cars. So we need more volunteers. (McMood)
Universities - UEL etc cannot give Mini-Buses anymore so, we didnt get that option. I will try City Uni, but doubt it too (McMood)
I'll update tomorrow ,IA, if I find any cheaper options for the minibus.
If we can't get a minibus, then we need car options very fast.

Make sure you come dressed in combat gear so we can strike fear into our Sikh neighbours. ;)

My family will be at home, they go to sleep pretty early. Some of whom are coming back from On-Call - so main rules are, not to be too late (cos i will get grief for leaving too late) and noise levels to be a minimum. Do we want to have dinner at my place before going?
We must aim to leave before 10pm.

If you could keep an idea of how much your expenses have been for the trip (food, petrol etc) we'll just add it up a little while before we leave and get Squibby to pay up. And then when he has paid up, we will tie him up on the cliff face and leave him for the wolves. (Squibby) Sure lads, just leave me the bill and your debit/credit cards and I'll sort it out. The wolves won't like the taste of me. They like lean meat. They don't like just bones either, so McMud is safe too. (McMood) Oh how kind of you Squibby, dare i say it, but i think those were words of love and affection coming from you. Maybe we shouldn't do what we were planning, I almost feel guilty.
